"The Greenchoice Formula Zero team received in Delft, the Netherlands, the UfD-E.ON Teamwork award 2010. Despite technical problems and the economic crisis, the Delft students were able to continue their work on their third generation hydrogen powered vehicle called ‘Forze III’. "
The first ‘Forze’ won world’s first race with hydrogen powered vehicles and the team outshined in last year’s race in the city center of Turin, Italy. This year, the team succeeded in recruiting fifty students to work on their next generation race car. This vehicle will debut on 19th of August 2010 on the ‘Spuiplein’ in The Hague, the Netherlands.
The Formula Zero team received their award prior to their trip to Rio de Janeiro to demonstrate the Dutch zero emission vehicle during the Michelin Challenge Bibendum event. The UfD-E.ON Teamwork award 2010 represents 10.000 euro.
